Have any of your packages been received by 'M Hindera'. Never seen this name come across in this board. Mine was received by this guy on 20th July at NSC, 140 approved at NSC, no receipts. Pls let me know..

My husband received CPO mail on 08/04, welcome mail on 08/05, soft LUD on 08/06 and approval notice sent mail on 08/09 but dated 08/08 in USCIS status. Hoping to have the GC in hand next week.
Anyone who has the same chain of events or received GC for CPO mail on 08/04 or later?

Even a credit card bill takes about a week to reach you ! You will definitely get his card next week, i'm sure you and child will also get approvals soon. At least there is movement on your family's case.

I may sound some what negative here but I am not trying to diminish the IV plat form for all the folks here.Yes, it is just "about us" only... what "IV core" did so far is vague....flower campaign and this current FOIA requests started randomly by the individuals thinking collectively.... You being US citizen or president of USA does not mean much to us! I have requested you to show me "so called 30 day rule" on any of the official web site (For example USCIS). I have asked you this several times. Every time You just direct us to some lawyer's web site/university web site and expect us to believe them.

agree, it cannot be really changed by us. even if people willingly try to achieve a new mindset with positive programming, it takes months to achieve.
Guess we have to work with what we have. There may be a solution, but only people with a similar mindset can come up with it.
People discuss superbowl, cricket, food, movies, schools, everything, people discuss about their 140, 485 , ead etc... everyone knows there is a problem but pretend as if there is no problem and it is just a part of life.
Sometime back on IV the motivation levels was different. We did have a sizable crowd during the 2007 rally in DC. We did have 200+ people doing advocacy work.
I hope people come forward again.
Looks like we lack people with good leadership qualities on IV now especially a lot of IV members are not active anymore and guess it is just slow.

Unless we all make a collective effort no one is going to listen to us. I had info pass appointment today in Newark they asked my

I told them it�s almost one a month, I didn�t get my card yet. Then they gave me a token number and when my turn came. I met the USCIS officer he wasn�t much help at all. he just gave me 551 stamp for 1yr and when I asked him about biometric he said last year I took in Oct-07 its good till next month and I don�t need it.
I was expecting 551 stamp look like h1 visa stamp, but it�s just an ordinary stamp.
After coming home I called USCIS asked them about the card. She told me that card was sent out for production today and I should get it within 1 week to 30 days. Because it was sent out today that�s the reason I didn�t get the email update

What else do we need to carry apart from Info pass appointment letter, I-485 approval letter and Passports? I will plan to take an Infopass appointment and get my and my wife's passport stamped.

I was looking at the processing times for the NSC 485 applications and it shows March , 2007.
Does it mean that all June 1st filers will be getting their 485 approvals by September ( barring any RFE and name check delays)???
Or is it Wishful Thinking???
It would be great if we kept this thread for receipt issues only but..
Please read the Ombudsmans 2007 report pgs 17-21. These are not real processing times.
BTW, I can't believe there are *still* people on this forum who haven't read this report -- it spells out absolutely everything that is going on/wrong with all our greencards, and you can't be bothered to read it?? :cool:

GOP as well DNC are all chasing the mass votes of illegals and their USC relatives.

Now these numbers have retrogressed in month of June when historically this has never happened. Obama is trying to woo people at the cost of Indian community.

If the employee helps in your business, you got to help him too (Just like the referral policy), don�t think that just because he works for you, he is obliged to help you in your business in other means, it is not in his list of roles and responsibilities.
It is the employer�s duty too to find projects, if the employee finds project for himself, then reward him with bonus.
Above all, the desi employers need to come out of cheap mentality and become more professionals.
